Mijares will work to return the Metro Fund

The candidate for federal representative for District 02, Cristian Mijares, “El Campeón” was this Monday with his campaign team on Miguel Alemán Boulevard, where he not only approached the drivers but where he even danced to the rhythm of the band, as he He said, very happy with the reception he has received from the people.

He said he felt committed to managing, once in the Chamber of Deputies, the funds and trusts that the federal government disappeared from the 4T, such as the La Laguna Metropolitan Fund, with which important and necessary road works were carried out to improve connectivity in the municipalities of La Laguna de Durango and Coahuila.

“Something that excites me a lot is that people say ‘I’m going to vote for you,’ but it also gives me a lot of commitment. We have to work and with a lot of discipline,” said Mijares, who is a candidate for the Fuerza y Corazón coalition, made up of PRI-PAN-PRD.

One of its main efforts and proposals is to focus all efforts on returning federal funds and trusts, eliminated by the current federal government.

“One of them is the La Laguna Metropolitan Fund, we are going to work hard to try to return it taking advantage of the security issue because Gómez Palacio is the third safest city in the country. We are very happy because security is transversal, if there is security there is economy, there is investment, there is employment, there is health, there is everything and we are going to work very hard,” said Mijares.

Regarding the state budget for Durango, an entity that has had a significant reduction in the assigned federal budget each year, Cristian Mijares admitted: “They have been hurt a lot. We are going to be allies of the governor, Esteban Villegas, and the president, Leticia Herrera, We will be allies and friends who lower the resource, who defend the resource for Durango and consequently for the municipalities,” he assured.

He commented that what citizens express most is their concern about maintaining the security issue in the municipality.

“Because we already saw how Zacatecas is, how Guerrero is, how Culiacán is and people are afraid because they see the news and they tell us ‘we don’t want that to come here’ and I tell you that it depends on all of you, with the vote on June 2. Let us not let him enter that government because where Morena governs, chaos governs and we are already experiencing it,” said the candidate.

Cristian Mijares was accompanied by the senatorial candidate of the Fuerza y Corazón (PRI-PAN-PRD) coalition Gaby Hernández, as well as by the candidates for local deputies of this same coalition and who correspond to Gómez Palacio, who are: Daniel Santoyo ( for District 10), Brenda Calderón (for District 11) and Hillary Bueno (for District 12).
