After pursuing a car in the middle of a night in Botevgrad, police have captured a 13-year-old boy who was behind the wheel, and with him he was a 12-year-old child, BNR reported on Wednesday night.
Minutes after 2:00 after midnight on February 11, a patrol of the Regional Police Department in Botevgrad notices how a car hit a metal pillar when moving the back.
“They notice how a car is hit by a metal car, as the car sees the patrol car, passing through the barrier, through the parking lot. From there it passes through a lawn, where it realizes a car accident,” says Inspector Dimitar Dokov of the police in Botevgrad.
According to the police, the children reacted quite calmly when they were detained. They were taken to the district, where their parents arrived, and children’s educators worked with the children. They are not injured, with their alcohol and drug tests negative.
The boy behind the wheel explained that he had taken his father’s keys and set out to ride with his friend. The car was seized. It is used by the father of the minor driver, but according to documents, the car is kept to other people.
