In 2023, The country was visited by 42.2 million international tourists. The nation not only stood out for the attraction of the volume of travelersbut also for the income attracted by international tourism. The organization highlighted that the last United Nations Tourism Confidence Index shows positive prospects for the May-August 2024 period, despite both economic and geopolitical headwinds that continue to pose significant challenges to the full recovery of international tourism and the level of confidence.
