Mexican and US armies continue with disaster drill in Ciudad Juarez

The armies of Mexico and the United States, continue this Thursday with the disaster drill in Juarez Cityand on this occasion they are assisting the civilian population, affected by the derailment of a train with a spill of chemical products.

On this occasion and within the Binational Exercise “Friendly Forces 2024” which began on Tuesday, helicopters and military vehicles from the Mexican Army and Air Force and the United States Army North moved to the company’s facilities Mexican Railways (Ferromex).

There, a train accident was recreated, in which a train carrying dangerous chemicals derailed and spilled its contents, endangering the population.

Soldiers wearing special equipment, suits and masks delimited the scene of the accident in order to treat the injured and transport them to hospitals in Red Cross ambulances.
