Tripoli, January 21, 2024 (WALA) – The northern regions of the country are affected by cold weather, interspersed with light to moderate scattered rain, which is good on the Green Mountain highlands as a result of an extension of an air depression accompanied by sometimes active northwesterly winds and a noticeable drop in temperatures.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its daily bulletin that the weather will tend to gradually stabilize in most regions at the end of the week (Friday) as a result of Libya being affected by an air spike.
The areas of Ras Jadeer to Sirte, the Al-Jafara Plain, and Nafusa Mountain witness light to moderate rain from time to time, and the winds are northwesterly to northerly, moderate to brisk, and temperatures range between (13-18) degrees Celsius.
The Gulf regions and the Benghazi Plain will also witness scattered rains, which will be good on the heights of Jabal Al Akhdar. The winds will be northwesterly to northerly, moderate to brisk, and temperatures will range between (14-19) degrees Celsius and will drop tomorrow in most areas.
The sky condition in the areas of Al-Jufra, Sabha, Ghat, Ghadames, and Al-Hamada will be few, with few clouds increasing at times in some areas. Winds will be moderate northerly to northeasterly, and temperatures will range between (19-23) degrees Celsius, and will record a drop tomorrow in most areas.
Some clouds will appear over the areas of the oases, Al-Sarir, Tazerbu, and Kufra, and the winds will be moderate southwesterly to westerly winds, gradually turning into moderate northwesterly winds, active in some areas. Temperatures will range between (24-27) degrees Celsius, and will record a noticeable drop tomorrow in most areas.
