For the sixth time in his career, Argentine player, Lionel Messi, won the Ballon d’Or, an award awarded by France Football, this Monday (2).
In the city of Light (Paris), once again Messi was the brightest and most luminous star among all those competing for the award, which is a symbol of the best player in the world at one time.
The Argentinian’s winning path began to be traced in 2009, when he received his first Ballon d’Or, a fact that was repeated for the following three years, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
After that, Messi went on a fast and saw his biggest rival win the award, which he would revalidate in 2015 and this year, after another fast.
Lionel Andrés Cutticcini Messi, born 32 years ago in Rosario, Argentina, won more than 30 trophies with Barcelona, the club he has represented since his childhood.
