King Charles III and Kate Middleton are recovering after undergoing surgery. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are said to have sent a “get well soon” message to the two most senior royals.

A source close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told the Mirror that the King and Princess of Wales have received support from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle regarding their health.

“They have contacted both sides in different ways to express their concerns and best wishes,” a source said.

The news comes just days after Kate Middleton underwent stomach surgery in what Kensington Palace described as a planned procedure.

“The surgery was successful and he is expected to remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue his recovery,” read a statement posted via Instagram earlier this week.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton’s father-in-law, King Charles III, is due to undergo surgery this week to treat an enlarged prostate.

Sources told the Telegraph that Harry initially learned of his father’s health condition through the media.

Buckingham Palace insiders say they have attempted to warn all senior members of the royal family, including Harry, who stepped down from his role in 2020 and moved to Montecito, California, with Meghan Markle.
