He said, “Our doctors are doing very good work but not much is happening in many places.” In many places many people are not present at the workplace.
He said these things at a function organized on the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day 2024 at Mohakhali National Cancer Research Institute and Hospital Auditorium in the capital on Sunday (March 24).
He said, many times I go to many hospitals suddenly. If the health concerned supervises to see that everyone is observing your working hours properly. I will work to increase the benefits of doctors. We will increase the benefits if your work is done properly by increasing the benefits. When I go to the hospital, many people do not understand who is walking. In many offices I leave quickly. I try to see the activities of the hospitals. I know how many places the patient has to travel, how to get admitted, how many types of harassment, what happens after admission, I analyze the issues.
Doctors are doing a lot of work. But many are coming to work late, leaving early. There may be a need, but reporting the issues to the workplace will solve many problems.
National Tuberculosis Control Program stakeholders must work to create public awareness on TB prevention. They will maintain the quality of work. Success with the government’s goals will be achieved when everyone can work maintaining quality. The government is giving free medicine and you do the rest.
