The admission of those who passed the MBBS admission test for the academic year 2023-24 has started for the government medical. As per earlier announcement, the admission process has started from Sunday (February 18). The admission process can be completed during office hours till February 24.

On February 11, 2023-24 academic year, MBBS admission exam results were announced by Health Minister Dr. Samant Lal Sen. 49 thousand 923 students have passed the MBBS entrance exam this year. The pass rate is 47.83 percent. The pass rate of boys in the admission test is 40.98% (20 thousand 457) and the pass rate of girls is 59.02% (29 thousand 466).
Among the 5 thousand 72 seats of merit quota, the number of male candidates is 2 thousand 194 (43.26%) and the number of female candidates is 2 thousand 878 (56.74%). 269 students were selected as 5% of the total number of seats in freedom fighter quota and 39 students were selected in quota reserved for minorities.
The following documents will be required at the time of admission:
* 2023-2024 admission test admit card.
* HSC Exam Original Registration Card
* Academic transcript/mark sheet of SSC & HSC or equivalent examination
* Original certificate and appreciation letter of SSC and HSC or equivalent examination pass
* Original Citizen Certificate issued by Mayor/Municipal Chairman/Union Parishad Chairman/Ward Commissioner of Local City Corporation
* Four copies of recent passport size attested color photographs.
* Ministry of Freedom Fighters Affairs Memorandum No. 48,00,0000,003,25.019.20.875 dated 18/10/2020 A.D. will be followed.
* Certificate from Circle Chief and District Commissioner in case of tribal candidates of hill districts and original certificate issued by Circle Chief or District Commissioner in case of non-tribal candidates. In case of tribal candidates of other districts original certificate issued by tribal head and concerned district commissioner.
The MBBS admission test for the academic year 2023-2024 was held on February 9.
