The President of the Republic of Moldova Maya Sandu sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Publika.az reports that the letter says:
“Dear Mr. President.
Please accept my sincere congratulations on your re-election as the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. I wish you and the people of Azerbaijan peace and prosperity.
I hope that the traditional friendly relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Azerbaijan, based on the principles of mutual respect and trust, will form the basis for the development of cooperation between our countries.
I would like to emphasize the constructive nature of the political dialogue between our states and confirm that my country is open to the deepening of bilateral relations. I am sure that with joint efforts, we will be able to further intensify Moldovan-Azerbaijani cooperation in the economic and commercial, investment, energy and agricultural fields for the benefit of the citizens of our countries.
