Constructora El Salvador is the first private company in the country, in the construction industry, to receive the international certification of the Anti-Bribery Management System ISO 37001: 2016, a new achievement for the historic development of the country that is being promoted by the Government.

This company, which has the purpose of meeting the needs of the industry and has a professional team made up of more than 200 direct employees and more than 500 indirect employees, has the purpose of designing, studying, supervising and executing all types of projects. of urbanization, architecture, infrastructure and construction of all types of earthworks.

Since last April, the Construction Company underwent a rigorous audit process by the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (AENOR), based in Spain, which at the end of May ratified compliance with the standard.

The process consisted of a diagnosis of the activities carried out by this company and definition of the scope; identification of inherent risks, implementation of controls to prevent bribery and establishment of mechanisms to detect it. Given this, a commitment was created from the policy to report any act of suspected bribery.

With this international certification, in cases that are proven and bribery materializes, the case will be reported, a judicial process will be opened and with evidence the act will be penalized. In the case of suppliers, the process is contract expiration and imprisonment.

With this certification, a series of measures will be adopted to prevent, detect and deal with this issue of bribery, resulting in better management of funds and transparency.

The Construction Company aims to execute strategic projects at the national level to improve the living conditions of Salvadorans through the construction of various infrastructure projects such as: hospitals, health units, schools, markets, roads, parks, electrification and wiring. Underground.

In the capital, the surface layer of road surfaces, public lighting and lighting are being restored, such as the construction of the Urban Corridor, which includes one with a bicycle lane, in the Historic Center.

Still in the capital, Constructora El Salvador completely renewed the asphalt surface, installed underground wiring, covers and additional works such as landscaping and painting in the Zona Rosa, in the San Benito neighborhood.

Among other works in the east of the country, a modern sports center, a building to house the mounted National Civil Police and a parish multipurpose hall were recently delivered in the historic El Mozote hamlet, Meanguera, Morazán.
