Mariana Botas: I was honest and did not wear masks at La Casa de los Famosos México

La Casa de los Famosos México, in its third season, has fewer and fewer inhabitants and the grand final is approaching.

Last Sunday it was Mariana Botas who left the reality show, getting fewer votes among those nominated as Abelito or Dalilah Polanco.

Botas spoke with El Siglo de Torreón about his departure and clarified that, far from feeling sad, he sees this opportunity as a great life experience.

“The truth is that I’m calm because I enjoyed it 100 percent. It was me, I was sincere and I didn’t wear masks. I lived all the stages of the project to the fullest. I got to do everything, from winning a challenge to being nominated and saved.

“Of course I would have liked to stay longer and more when you were already halfway through; however, that is life and we all knew that someone would come out every week. We are already landing in reality,” he expressed by telephone.

Although for all the members of this house not everything has been smooth sailing, Mariana recognized that she learned things and discovered skills that she didn’t know she had.

“It leaves me with learning and unforgettable things. I think that if I ever experience a project of this nature again, I will know how to handle myself, because I realized that I have a capacity for adaptation that I was not aware of. I tested myself and got rid of that dependency that we have on the cell phone today, in addition to living with people with whom I never imagined I could have such a good time.”

In that sense, the interviewee revealed who she will miss from La Casa de los Famosos México and which people she will not.

“I am going to miss several people like Dalilah Polanco, she is a great human being. I am also not going to forget Facundo, Aldo de Nigris, Elaine who became my little sister. I am not going to miss Alexis at all, why do I say yes, otherwise,” highlighted the actress.

Mariana mentioned that the confinement “honestly” was extremely complicated, but she never felt the desire to leave on her own.

“I really wanted to be there. I did have moments of anxiety. One day I woke up with tachycardia, with thousands of thoughts and a great desire to cry. I explored those feelings that one has stored away and that the house itself takes you to them.

“I let off steam with Shiky and with Facundo, that gave me enormous peace. I had a moment of suffering, a day of anguish,” he explained from the Televisa forums.

Now that he has left the Televisa reality show, Botas expressed that he will continue working and giving himself to his followers.

“I’m excited to get back to my life, my reality. The house was great, but outside we have a very nice life, something we value more when we’re inside. I’m going to continue with Envinadas (a program on YouTube) and I hope that this exhibition window that is La Casa de los Famosos opens the doors for other television projects.”

Finally, the driver mentioned that she hopes to return to the Comarca Lagunera soon and thanked the inhabitants of this region who extended their hand to her on this adventure.
