The district administration has fastened the interval for gathering mangoes from the timber in Chuadanga. This determination was taken in a tri-partite change assembly on the Chuadanga District Commissioner’s convention room on Monday (Could 13) afternoon.
Harvesting of Anti, Guti and Bombay varieties from Could 16, Himsagar from Could 24, Langra from Could 30, Amrapali (Bari mango-3) from June 10, Fazli selection from June 15, Ashwina (Bari-4 selection) from July 1 will start. .
In accordance with the sources of Chuadanga Agricultural Extension Directorate, there are 720 hectares in Chuadanga Sadar Upazila, 220 hectares in Alamdanga Upazila, 739 hectares in Damurhuda Upazila and 625 hectares in Jibannagar Upazila. The goal of mango manufacturing within the district is 30 thousand 810 metric tons.
Bivas Chandra Saha, deputy director of the Chuadanga Agricultural Extension Division, stated that nobody can plant unripe mangoes outdoors the district-wide mango assortment schedule. Authorized motion shall be taken in opposition to anybody who violates this.
Chuadanga Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kissinger Chakma stated, certainly not can unripe mangoes be planted for industrial functions.
