Choguel Kokala Maiga, Prime Minister of Mali, stressed that Morocco is a friendly country that Mali depends on in order to continue the path of construction and achieve stability in the country.
During his reception of the Moroccan delegation participating in the “Expert Surveyors Engineers Week,” organized from April 18 to 20, of which the Kingdom was a guest of honor, Maiga highlighted that Morocco is a “brotherly and friendly country” with which Mali has special and long-standing relations.
In this regard, the Prime Minister of Mali praised the Kingdom’s continued support for Mali and the distinguished bilateral relations.
The same official recorded that Morocco has always worked, under high instructions from King Mohammed VI, to achieve stability in Mali.
“Our two countries do not share common borders, but our relations are like relations between brothers and friends,” Chogwell Kukala Maiga said. This highlights the richness, depth and strength of the ties between the two parties.
The same spokesman considered that the historical relations between the two countries make Morocco a neighboring country to Mali, and therefore a brother and friend, noting that “the citizens of the two countries must have a clear awareness of the specificity of the relations” that unite Morocco and Mali.
Maiga also stressed the depth of the bonds of brotherhood and friendship between the peoples of the two countries, drawing attention to the fact that the Kingdom of Morocco is a favorite destination for Malians.
Touching on the historical nature of cooperation between his country and Morocco, the Malian Prime Minister pointed out that the Mohammed VI clinic for pre- and post-natal care in Bamako, which was opened in July 2022, constitutes a model for this exemplary cooperation, noting the efforts made by Moroccan doctors to transfer their expertise to their Malian counterparts. .
The Moroccan delegation, which was received by the Prime Minister of Mali, included, in particular, Idris Isbaeen, the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Mali, and Khaled Yousfi, President of the National Organization of Topographical Surveying Engineers.
