In the Ferghana region, a trial in the case of the murder of a woman with her own husband ended. Information about this was reported by representatives of the press service of the courts of the region, reports Liter.kz with reference to Upl.uz.
The tragic incident occurred in the city of Margilan. The cause of a monstrous crime was a nightmare, a dream of a man. He dreamed that his wife was wrong. Waking up in a state of strong anger, he grabbed a knife lying under a pillow, and inflicted 13 stab wounds with a sleeping wife.
Subsequently realizing that what happened in a dream was not reality, the man in a panic turned for medical help. However, the wounds received were fatal, and the woman died.
During the preliminary investigation, it turned out that the accused and previously unreasonably suspected his wife of marital infidelity, which often caused family conflicts. It is noted that the deceased and convicted remained three minor children.
The Margilan City Court of Criminal Court found the man guilty of committing a crime under Article 97 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (intentional murder) and sentenced him to 16 years in prison.
