Magaly Medina supports students from Huaycán in a school competition

Magaly defended the civic school act for the 40th anniversary of the Huaycán district that was celebrated on July 15

Magaly Medina, on her show ‘Magaly TV La Firme’, announced that it will send money to schools participating in a school parade contest in Huaycánhighlighting the dedication and effort of these students.

“This is a school parade, for school bands, for the 40th anniversary of Huaycán and all the schoolchildren prepared for a long time to be able to march and compete. In addition, they are from a humble and hard-working area.”Medina commented.

Defense towards schoolchildren

During the last broadcast of the program, Medina expressed his disagreement with the criticism that the students have received on social media for their choreography in the parade.

“On social media, there were comments like ‘what a lack of patriotism, marching like that, that is not love for Peru’ and a lot of other nonsense. If all school parades were like that, how wonderful. They marched with joy, in the middle of dancing, as it should be celebrated. In addition, they are not doing a parade for Fiestas Patrias, but for the anniversary of Huaycán, which was a party.”Medina explained.

Medina criticized those who questioned the parade of the young students and defended them, saying she was proud of the students’ achievements. “For me they were so good, and they brought some color and joy to a whole district full of hard-working, enterprising people. I really take my hat off and applaud you guys and girls. You really won my heart.”he claimed.
