The Mada VTT club, bringing together around fifty mountain bikers, gave nature a helping hand on Saturday, during a reforestation day, which has become a tradition. Indeed, last Sunday’s hike was very special. The members met to plant 500 young acacia and eucalyptus plants in Ambatoroa Ambohimiadana Carion. It was the “Olomanga” association in Angavokely which offered the trees to plant. The day ended with the installation of a statue to mark the collaboration between the two parties. The association takes care of monitoring the trees that have been planted. Once again, cycling enthusiasts have demonstrated their commitment to the environment. The “Olomanga” association, led by President Tolotriniaina Randriambololona, was created in December 2022. It aims to promote the rural environment and humanity, giving importance to the preservation and protection of the environment . She celebrated her first anniversary with this reforestation with Mada VTT. Its objective is to raise awareness among households in the use of the new technique to reduce the consumption of firewood, and to offer training with partners linked to agriculture.
