Leaders of nearly 20 European countries gathered in Paris on Monday. From this meeting, the message of Europe’s strong support to Ukraine has been given to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

A White House official told Reuters the United States has no plans to send US troops to fight Russia. Besides, there is no plan to send NATO troops to Ukraine.
Earlier, Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico said, without giving details, that several NATO and European Union member states are considering sending troops to Ukraine under bilateral agreements.
However, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte told reporters that sending troops to Ukraine was not important in Monday’s talks.
Referring to Russia as the sole aggressor, Macron said Russia’s defeat is essential for Europe’s security and stability.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine enters its third year. The biggest war in Europe since World War II shows no signs of ending anytime soon. Instead, Russia has intensified its operations there. Russia has occupied several regions of Ukraine, which are short of ammunition and weapons. In such a situation, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has asked the Western allies for urgent military assistance.
