With the sudden death of Brigitte Bierlein, the Lupac Foundation has lost another important support within two weeks
Vienna (PK) – Brigitte Bierlein has been a member of the jury of the Margaretha Lupac Foundation of Parliament since 2004, i.e. from the very beginning – over all the years and during all the diverse tasks that she has carried out for Austria as a pioneer. In her work for the foundation, it was more than clear how enthusiastically she was about Austrian democracy, even in her voluntary work. Her appreciation for the submissions, the people and the extraordinary work that prompted her to submit them was impressive. She will always remain a role model for the Margaretha Lupac Foundation in this regard.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees, President of the National Council Wolfgang Sobotka: “Brigitte Bierlein was an impressive and extraordinary personality, a grande dame with a great understanding of political cooperation and a reliable partner of the foundation.
