Luhongo centrality gains Maxnet broadband Internet service

News from Angola – The Luhongo Centrality, located in the municipality of Catumbela, in Benguela, has the first residential fiber broadband service for the digital inclusion of the population called Maxnet.

According to the statement that Notícias de Angola had access to today, the initiative falls within the scope of aligning the national digital development plan for communities.

According to the General Director of Paratus Angola, the construction of fiber optic telecommunications infrastructures not only materializes the solidification of the new digital era in Angola, fits into the Executive’s plans, but also maximizes communities’ internet access.

Francisco Pinto Leite also announced that Paratus Angola is continuing with its national coverage expansion plan and presents Maxnet as a service that will diversify the company’s portfolio.

To this end, the person responsible asks for the support of local entities to publicize the service, as well as their support for the constant improvement of services in order to meet the needs of the population.

With connection to the Internet system in the Centrality of Luhongo, according to the director of Partus Angola, a total of more than 26 thousand homes in centralities in the country have Maxnet services at their disposal, and we expect that by the end of this year there are more than 50 thousand throughout the country.

The Maxnet service serves, above all, the residential segment in urban areas and those further away from city centers, providing access to telecommunications services with greater cost/benefit in support of technological solutions that contribute to increasing productivity, competitiveness and economic growth of governments, companies and families.

In addition to Benguela, the Maxnet service is already present in 7 more provinces, namely: Luanda, Huambo, Bié, Cuanza Sul, Namibe, Cabinda and Bengo.
