Lucie Vondráčková before StarDance: She destroyed her legs!

The actress and singer takes the preparation for the live broadcasts of the dance competition very seriously and trains for four hours almost a day. “I feel like everyone in that group was looking forward to training. We agreed right away that we can’t wait any longer,” she told the newspaper Aha! enthusiastically.

But the hard work under the baton of dancer Lukáš Bartuňek (36) is starting to show on her body. “Everything hurts! And I already have three kilos down.” revealed Lucka, who had to undergo a difficult leg operation in the past.

That’s also why she couldn’t wear heels until recently, and as she revealed herself, choosing dance shoes was a big problem for her. “Lukáš and I were choosing shoes and the dance shoemaker told me – what kind of feet are these? I have never seen that in my life! So you’re terrible… You’ve had some weird legs this whole year.” Vondráčková confided saying that for a while it looked hopeless.

“The gentleman didn’t even know if he could get me any shoes, but he did, and they’re like bums,” added the singer with satisfaction.

Offer until StarDance didn’t get Lucie the first time. But she herself is glad that she nodded only now. “Fifteen years ago I wouldn’t have appreciated it so much,” revealed the singer, saying that now it is the exact opposite. “When you’re old, you appreciate that your knees still serve. I’m still waiting for those legs to kick in, but they’re still working. I thank them very much every night for that,” she admitted with a laugh.

She ended up in a wheelchair once before

Her feet tormented her not only now when choosing dance shoes, but also 15 years ago. Due to great pain, Lucie Vondráčková had to undergo a serious operation. A few months after it, she was only able to move around in a wheelchair!

She brought on leg pain due to excessive stress during dancing and modern gymnastics. But most of them were influenced by musicals Desire in the Kalich Theater, where she danced in heels. The pain was so unbearable that during the 2009 vacation, she decided to undergo complicated surgery for collapsed arches in both feet.

“I’m a month post-op and currently in a wheelchair,” she revealed to the newspaper Aha! singer. Fortunately, she managed to recover and was able to return to dancing about a year after the operation. We can only hope that he doesn’t straighten his legs again during hard dance training on StarDance…
