In Naples, Italy, one bettor for two euros won 101 million euros (about 2.5 billion CZK) in the Superenalotto lottery, ANSA reported. It is not yet clear who the lucky winner is, according to Italian media, it could be a tourist.
“It is impossible to say who it was,” Salvatore, the owner of the shop where someone bet six lucky numbers, which is on the busy Via Toledo, told the media. “Of course, I would be happy if someone from our neighborhood was the winner. I know a lot of people who would need it,” he added. “It’s a lot of money…and I wouldn’t say no if the winner wanted to give me some,” Salvatore also said.
According to local media, this is one of the highest winnings in this popular lottery. The record in it fell last year, when the jackpot of 371 million euros (about 9.3 billion CZK) was divided among 90 winners, and each of them received about four million euros.
