MEXICO CITY (process.com.mx).- Los Ángeles Azules made the National Auditorium shake with party and dance, resuming their symphonic-style show with a new list of special guests: Panteón Rococó, Mia Rubín Legarreta and Jay de la Cueva. Today is their second and last date at the colossus on Reforma Avenue.
The legendary group from Iztapalapa led by the Mejía Avante family, gave their followers an extensive tour of cumbia sonidera hits during the first date of two dates at the Auditorium.
Passions made their way from the first chords, and crowds were observed polishing the floor between seats and aisles. La candela opened the rhythms of “Entrega de amor”, “Mi sole amor” and “La cumbia picosa”.
Elías Mejía Avante “El Doctor”, in addition to being a surgeon at the UNAM, composer, bassist and general director of the ensemble, enlivened the show with constant displays of gratitude. He thus greeted his people:
“I’m so glad to be back here with you at home! I want you to enjoy your life! How are you going to enjoy your life? Behaving well, working every day, if they are studying, getting straight nines and tens. And of course the soul needs music and the music is provided by Los Ángeles Azules!”

Between each song, the good “Doc” enlivened the reception with his characteristic sense of humor, receiving good vibes from those gathered who enjoyed the evening listening to “El ribbon de tu pelo” and “Las marvelas de la vida.”

For the golden bolt, Mia Rubín Legarreta – daughter of Timbiriche Erik Rubín and host Andrea Legarreta – was introduced, enchanting the fans with chants of “It’s never enough.” In an inexorable finale, the acclaimed “17 Años” was played, accompanied by rocker Jay de la Cueva, achieving widespread satisfaction. The Blue Angels disappeared, feted in thunderous clamor and applause.
