In Datem del Marañón, Alto Amazonas and Requena, 2,500 inhabitants of indigenous communities will be assisted by the State
The National Program PAIS of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis) has begun its third aerial campaign of the Itinerant Platform for Social Action (PIAS) in Loreto.
This initiative, carried out in collaboration with various entities, aims to provide more than 17,000 services to native communities in the provinces of Datem del Marañón, Upper Amazon and Requenabenefiting more than 2,500 personas in the region.
In this new mission, 11 professionals will travel on an Air Force Twin Otter seaplane to seven service points in the districts of Andoas, Pastaza, Lagunas and Emilio San Martín. The objective is to offer a variety of coordinated services. The campaign is scheduled to continue until July 25th.
Upon arrival at each community, the professionals will provide General medical services, nursing, obstetrics, dentistry, CRED (Specialized Home Resolving Consultation) carevaccination against influenza and pneumococcus, and certification for people with disabilities. In addition, they will be available to evacuate people in emergency situations to the nearest hospitals.

They will also be offered banking services and the payment of economic benefits of social programs such as Pension 65, Together and With You. In addition, various procedures related to the DAYSsuch as renewals, data updates and birth certificate recordswhich will allow people to save time and money by avoiding trips to offices in the regional capital for these purposes.
All services will be accompanied by an interpreter. Native languages to address the questions and user queries effectively.
Fidel Pintado, executive director of the PAIS Program of Midis, highlighted the ongoing social work in Loreto, especially in Native communities. He referred to the importance of air PIAS to reach areas of difficult access due to geography, thus complementing the actions carried out by river. This allows the inhabitants to receive quality care and exercise their right to access government services.
The service points in Datem del Marañón will include New Andoas, Soplín Vargas, Christian Alliance, San Fernando and Ungumayo. In Alto Amazonas, the community of Tamarate will be visited, and in Requena, the town of Sintico will be the last point of attention.
To carry out the third social action campaign in Loreto, the PAIS Program has coordinated with the regional government through its health management, Reniec, the National Bank, the Ministry of Culture and has had the support of the Peruvian Air Force.
