As a result, the game was suspended, and the rest of the match was played the next day. More than a month has passed since this incident. It is reported that the fallen light pole will be replaced with a new one soon. But how?
Publika.az received information about it. The management of “Turan Tovuz” bought the light poles installed at the beginning of the season from the base of “Baku” in Bilajari settlement, which is no longer active. In other words, they installed an old, used projector in the arena.
“Grey Wolves” plans to take the same step this time. They are already looking for a used light pole. In this regard, appeals were made to several places, including “Neftchi”. “Turan” officials, who wanted to buy the old light poles used in the training base of “Neftchi” in Bakikhanov settlement, received a rejection. It is believed that the Tovuz representative knocked on other doors in this regard.
It seems that “Turan Tovuz” did not learn from the incident. The lack of loss of life as a result of the falling of the light pole reassured Ehtiram Guliyev, the chairman of the board of the club. Therefore, he did not see the need to buy a new one. If the club buys the old lamppost again, who will guarantee that the same thing will not happen again?
