As reported by the Daily Mail, the Official List of Loch Ness Monster Sightings confirmed Parry and Hannah Malm’s claims after they took pictures showing the presence of the creature near Urquhart Castle which is the focal point of the Loch Ness monster.
At that time, the Malm family and their children visited Loch Ness lake for the first time.
Parry described the moment by saying: “Shannon (his son) saw the black head of some kind of animal. I doubted the existence of the monster before, but now, I think it must be there.”
More than 1,156 sightings of Loch Ness, also known as Nessie, have been recorded since Sir Edward Mountain sent an expedition to track the monster in 1934.
Mountain, who was involved in the insurance business, arranged the search.
He sent 20 people equipped with Kodak cameras and special glasses to monitor the lake, according to the scientific journal Nature.
