List of Trusted Places Yajuj Majuj Wall

JAKARTA – Yajuj Majuj in Islam is described as a race or nation that will cause chaos in the world. In addition, the appearance of Gog and Magog is also mentioned as one of the signs of the end of time. Not only in Islam, Yajuj Majuj is also told by other religions.

In the story in the Qur’an, specifically in the letter Al Kahf. It is said that at that time King Zulkarnain on his journey arrived between two mountains.

He met with people who complained about the dangers of Gog and Magog. Finally, Zulkarnain built a wall to enclose them, so they could not cause chaos.

In its development, this gave rise to many theories and speculation regarding the original place that was thought to be the wall. However, until now none of these theories have been proven correct.

Here are some places that have been thought to be the walls of Gog and Magog:

1. Gates of Alexander

The Alexander Gate is a legendary wall that the Greatest Alexander built in the Caucasus. It is said that this gate was used to prevent barbarians in the northern region from attacking the southern region. The location itself is not yet known for certain. However, there are 2 suspected locations, namely between Derbent, Russia or the Pass of Deriel, the border of Russia and Georgia.

2. Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China was a series of fortifications built to protect the area. This wall stretches from Liaodong in the East and Lop Lake in the West.

Since ancient times, there have actually been quite a lot of theories that say that this great wall is where Gog and Magog were confined. However, this cannot be confirmed. Because according to Islamic teachings, the Gog and Magog Wall is on the East side of the world, while the Great Wall of China is on the North side of the world.

3. North or South Pole

In some views, Gog and Magog are confined within walls made of iron and copper. Apart from that, every day they try to dig to get out of the wall.

Another place that was once thought to be the wall of Gog and Magog was the Greater Caucasus. This location is between northern Georgia and southern Russia.
