Public Relations Manager of Daop 1 Jakarta, Ixfan Hendriwintoko said, the change in train operating patterns was to avoid delays for prospective passengers due to traffic congestion around Monas towards Gambir Station due to Pope Francis’ visit to Jakarta.
“During normal times, trains departing from Gambir Station do not stop at Jatinegara Station, but specifically on September 4 and 5, 2024, train departures between 08.00 WIB and 16.00 WIB will stop at Jatinegara Station to serve passengers,” said Ixfan through an official statement, Tuesday (3/9/2024).
