List of Generals and Senior Hezbollah Commanders Killed by Israel

BEIRUT – There are a number of generals and senior commanders Hizbullah Lebanese who died as a result of Israeli attacks. The latest, is Taleb Abdullah.

Since the conflict on the Lebanese border broke out, as a result of the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza, high-ranking Hezbollah officials have become targets for assassination by Zionist forces.

Some of those targeted managed to escape. However, several key Hezbollah commanders have been killed.

List of Hezbollah Generals and Senior Commanders Killed by Israel

1. Abbas al-Musawi (Secretary General of Hezbollah)

Abbas al-Musawi is an influential Shia cleric in Lebanon. He is recorded as having been Secretary General (Sekjen) of Hezbollah for the 1991-1992 period.

Musawi could have served longer. However, he was killed in an attack launched by Israel in South Lebanon.

Collect Al JazeeraFriday (14/6/2024), the attack that killed Musawi occurred in 1992. At that time, Israeli helicopter gunships ambushed Musawi’s motorcade passing through South Lebanon.

The attack killed Musawi, his wife, his 5-year-old son and four of his bodyguards. After that, Musawi’s position as Secretary General of Hezbollah was replaced by Hassan Nasrallah.

2. Mohammed Issa (Senior Commander)

Issa is a Hezbollah military commander. He was also the group’s head of operations in southern Syria.
