JAKARTA – Government officials United States of America (US) has resigned because it is embarrassed that President Joe Biden’s government supports Israel in the war against Hamas in Gaza.

They feel that the Biden government’s support for Israel means involving America in genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The Gaza war broke out on October 7, 2023. It started after Hamas attacked southern Israel, which, according to the Zionist regime, killed 1,200 people and took hundreds of others hostage.

Israel responded to Hamas’ attacks by launching a brutal, indiscriminate war in Gaza. More than 37,000 Palestinians were killed and the Gaza region was destroyed.

Even though Israel’s brutal war in Gaza has been condemned by the international community, the Biden government continues to support the Zionist regime with weapons supplies. It was this move that forced American officials to resign in shame.

Stacy Gilbert, a senior official at the US Department of State’s Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM), resigned last May over the Biden administration’s Gaza policy.

According to the Washington Post, Gilbert sent an email to State Department employees saying that reports that Israel had not blocked aid to Gaza were untrue.

2. Lily Greenberg Call

Lily Greenberg Call was previously an official with the US Department of the Interior. He resigned last May over continued US support for the genocide in Gaza.
