Lisandro Catalan: “The Government will support the reorganization of Tucumán and the alliances for 2025”

The Tucuman Lisandro CatalanDeputy Chief of Staff of the Interior of the Nation, spoke exclusively this morning with LA GACETA about his relationship with the government of Oswald Jaldohis vision on provincial administration and the political future in the region.

During the meeting, the official stressed that he maintains a good relationship with the Tucuman governor and stated: “We are attentive to what is happening in the province and to what we can help from the Nation to organize the functioning of the relationship between both.”

He also praised the governor’s efforts in the administrative and economic order of the province: “That is the perception I have from here, I see a significant effort in that regard.”

Electoral future and political alliances

Asked about the activity of La Libertad Avanza in Tucumán, Catalán confirmed that the party is working on its political structure in all districts of the country, including this province. “The president, Javier Mileyis structuring his party everywhere; the president needs his own electoral tool for next year’s elections,” he said.

He also made it clear that the party will be open to alliances: “All those forces that agree with the president’s vision for the country and share the fundamental objectives will be welcome. There are sectors of the PRO, the radicalism and the Fuerza Republicana that agree with the president’s proposal, and those who want to join will be welcome.”

Relationship with radicalism and the presidential veto

Catalán was also asked about the role of radicalism in this new political scenario, in which he highlighted his good relationship with the deputy Mariano Camperoformer mayor of Yerba Buena, and other radical leaders. “I have a good relationship with Campero, we often talk about issues of national politics as well as those of Tucumán. But I am not aware that he has been offered a position in the Government,” he clarified.

Catalán confirmed that he will visit Tucumán next week to supervise the progress of national works in the province, especially those related to the airport.

“I will be in Tucumán next week, I will try to see the national works that have been restarted. We will be reviewing the progress at the airport and other important projects,” he said.

Finally, Catalán referred to the health status of the Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francoswho had recently suffered a stroke. “He is doing very well. We had a cabinet meeting today; he has fully recovered,” he concluded.
