Line revealed to elect Ricardo Monreal as coordinator in San Lázaro

PUEBLA, Pue. (apro).- Elected federal deputies from Puebla leaked to the media that they received a line from Governor Salomón Céspedes and the elected representative, Alejandro Armenta, to support Ricardo Monreal as the next coordinator of Morena in the legislative chamber.

Without doing so openly, some of the 16 legislators elected on June 2 in this entity, delivered a document that they were asked to sign in which they expressed their support for the former Zacatecan governor, who is close to the newly elected governor of Puebla.

In this format that has the logo of the elected president, Claudia Sheinbaum, they express their support for Monreal to coordinate the Morena parliamentary group.

“…I wish to express my determination to support Dr. Ricardo Monreal Ávila to coordinate our parliamentary group in the LXVI legislature,” the letter says. “I mention him out of conviction and above all because of his experience in the legislative branch, knowing that he will act with loyalty and righteousness to our movement and will support the decisions of our virtual president-elect, Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.”

Furthermore, they revealed that this suggestion to support the current senator was made in a meeting they held last Thursday at the Comprehensive Services Center convened jointly by Céspedes Peregrina and Armenta Mier as part of the transition work.

According to the attendees, at that meeting they were told that the request to support Monreal was from Sheinbaum Pardo herself and the aim was to reach a consensus at the first meeting that the elected legislators will hold with the president-elect on Tuesday, June 18. .
