In Quang Ninh, there was a widespread power outage, telecommunications outage, and clean water loss, causing people’s daily lives to be disrupted and facing many difficulties.
Reporter’s notes People’s Intelligence In Cam Pha City (Quang Ninh), on National Highway 18, the main road of Quang Ninh province, a series of broken electric poles blocked an entire lane, making traffic difficult.
Like many other areas of Quang Ninh province, Cam Pha city also lost power, telecommunications network and clean water.
Mr. Le Van Nam (51 years old, in Cam Son ward, Cam Pha city) shared that since he was a child, he had never witnessed a storm as big as storm No. 3 that just “swept” through Quang Ninh province.
Because the house is located deep inside, Mr. Nam’s family’s property damage was insignificant. But currently, the entire area where Mr. Nam lives is in a “3 no” situation.

“For now, my family has to ask our neighbors for buckets of water from the reservoir. If this continues, we don’t know what to do. As for electricity, my family uses a generator,” Mr. Nam shared.
Not far from Mr. Nam’s house, Mr. Nguyen Duc Duong (Head of Residential Group No. 9, An Son Area, Cam Son Ward) shared that storm No. 3 caused damage to many houses in the area, some houses had water tanks falling, tile roofs collapsing, ceilings falling and the entire heat-resistant corrugated iron roof was blown away by the wind.
