Life Style: It is very difficult to decide which vegetable to make every day in summers because in this season there are very few summer options and more than half of them children do not eat. Colocasia is one of them. Not only children, even adults do not get this vegetable, so today we will know its recipe which everyone will like. Bhindi, Brinjal, Ridge gourd, bottle gourd, tinda, colocassia and pumpkin are the vegetables available in summers. CompaniesThere are many options. Some of these options are rejected by children and some by adults. In such a situation, it becomes a headache to decide vegetables for everything from dal to dinner. We do not understand what to prepare everyday that everyone from children to adults can eat without any fuss. There are some vegetables which are very thick but due to their taste people do not like to eat them. This includes not only tinda or lauki but also arbi. However, arbi can be made tasty with a little experimentation.

Today we will learn about one such recipe, which will surely be liked by children and adults alike. Your plate of food will be cleaned in minutes. Ingredients- 1 gm arbi, 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp dry mango powder, 1 tsp gram flour, 1 tsp rice flour, 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves, 1 tsp mustard oil, as per tasteas per taste Salt First roast the arbi with a little salt until two to three whistles. After it cools down a bit, peel it and cut it into round pieces.

In a bowl, mix Kashmiri red chilli powder, regular red chilli powder, turmeric powder, dried mango powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, gram flour, rice flour. Mix this mixture with hands or spoon over the chopped arbi. Heat mustard oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida to it. Then fry the arbi on medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Sprinkle chopped coriander on top. Serve hot with roti, paratha or rice-dal. 1. Arbi is easily cooked in two to three whistles. Too much grinding does not make a good vegetable. 2. After peeling and cutting the arbi, keep it in the fridge for some time. If it has bulged too much, then keeping it in the fridge will improve its texture a bit.
