The traditional Torreón Fair will open its doors today and will end its activities on October 5.
The official ribbon cutting will take place at 7:30 p.m. and later the coronation of the new queen will take place at the Mayagoitia Theater.
The 79th edition is now a reality and is coming strong starting this Friday.
This year, the slogan is “Fun that brings us together as a family.”

Ticket prices will be the same as last year, with the aim of supporting the economy of our community
From Sunday to Thursday the ticket will cost 40 pesos; Friday, Saturday, September 15 and 16, 50 pesos. Older adults will pay 10 pesos, presenting their INAPAM credential.
For today, a big dance is scheduled to take place at the Star Forum.
Los Primeritos de Colombia, Internacional Sonora Everest, Tropicalísimo Lobo and La Vaina Colombiana will perform.
“Risho” Luna, leader of Los Primeritos, spoke with El Siglo about the concert they will hold in a few hours.
“We are happy to be participants in this great dance, which has been taking place for more than 10 years at the beginning of the fair and in most of those years we have been present.”
Luna announced that he and his companions are already more than ready to make the Laguneros dance.
“We have already prepared as much as possible to deliver to our public,” he said.

On the other hand, Luna mentioned that 2025 has been full of new music.
“We release melodies in these months that of course we are going to sing. We invite all the people of La Laguna to join us.”
