I am convinced that he who began this good work in you will complete it for the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1.6
As I share the gospel, I regularly find myself amazed to see life-worn people answer the call of salvation. One of the reasons for this wonder comes from the fact that, without knowing it, these people have entered a process of transformation. The divine potter will take care of them personally. He will sculpt every aspect of their being, shape their intelligence, plant in them the desire and desire to do his will, thus leading them to full spiritual maturity.for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good pleasure(Philippians 2:13).
Many people are extremely demanding of themselves. They think they have the ability to perform feats of holiness overnight, and when they don’t, disappointment takes the place of motivation.
Is this your case? Understand that God works gently, deeply and not brutally. The work of transformation that he wants to accomplish in you, he will accomplish with love and patience. So if you want him to be able to work fully in your life, let him do it for you. God brings changes.
Listen to the voice of God
Do you feel frustrated and unmotivated when you don’t see all the changes you want happening in your life? Listen to what God wants to tell you about it.
Praying is simple. Talk to God as you would your closest friend, because He loves you and can hear everything. Here is an example prayer: “Heavenly Father, you know how much I want to change. Help me understand that it will not be my efforts nor my regrets that will produce this change in me, but that it is your love and your Spirit that can transform me.“
Praise God
Today, revisit in your heart the idea that God is the divine artist who will make you his masterpiece. Express your gratitude to Him and tell Him how much you trust Him with His work in your life. Praise your Lord with all your heart for this. Hallelujah!
Take action today
Now, to make this moment even more concrete, think about the things you would like to see change, stop or start in your life. Name them and commit to God to allow Him to make the necessary changes in your life and heart.
Honor the Lord
Our journey for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.
“”Lord, you are really good to me. I recognize that you are the potter and that you will continue to shape my entire being. Yours be the kingdom, the power and the glory, amen!“
