THE WORD “NOW” IS PROHIBITED

In the last episode: Neri Tollardo, Co-founder and CEO of Plata Card, talks about the delights of his native country, Italy; reflects on the digitalization of financial services and tells about the challenges of leading a team:

“As a CEO you are always focused on what is not working, where there are problems to solve,” he confesses. He also comments on the importance of delegating decision-making to a team and “not being afraid to give responsibility to people.”

TRUMP’S REVENGE

In the second episode, Juan Carlos Baker, former undersecretary of Foreign Trade of Mexico, recalls his experience in different political contexts, especially the victory of Donald Trump in November 2016 (and with a view to another possible victory for 2024):

“If Donald Trump becomes president again, he will go with a lot of resentment, a lot of thirst for revenge,” says Baker, and also remembers the US trade threat towards the Mexican automotive industry when the businessman took power.
