iPhone 16 leaks reveal new Capture button and expected camera improvements.
With just a few weeks to go until Apple’s iPhone 16 launch event, the latest leaks about camera features and a brand new Capture button are making fans “restless”.
According to sources, all 4 iPhone 16 models will be equipped with a force-sensitive Capture button, located in the lower right corner, convenient for taking photos and recording videos when holding the device horizontally. This button will work independently of other applications and support many gestures such as light press to focus, hard press to capture, swipe to zoom.
Both the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are expected to feature a 48MP main camera with an f/1.6 aperture and 2x telephoto zoom, along with a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will likely feature 48MP main and ultra-wide cameras, with the ability to shoot 48MP ProRaw photos and 3K 120fps video with Dolby Vision support.
In addition, Apple is also expected to introduce a new photo format JPEG-XL on the iPhone 16, alongside the existing HEIF, JPEG, HEIF Max, ProRaw, and ProRAW Max formats.
While the above information has not been officially confirmed, it is quite consistent with previous rumors. Apple is expected to announce the date of the iPhone 16 launch event in the next few days, and fans are eagerly awaiting official information about this new generation of iPhone.
