The director of the Administrative Department of the Presidency (Dapre), Laura Sarabiaright-hand man of President Gustavo Petro, filed a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office in which he accuses an individual of orchestrating a smear and extortion campaign against him.
Sarabia, who has been a key figure in Petro’s administration, alleges that since Several months ago he was the victim of a “systematic disinformation campaign” with the aim of damaging her reputation and affecting her work as a public servant.

The complaint, which consists of two pages, details how the individual, identified as “Bryan Zapata”has contacted her through chats to inform her about the existence of a campaign to leak compromising audios to the Colombian media.
Zapata, who claims to have worked in the Legislative Work Unit (UTL) of a senator, expresses his disagreement with the intentions of this campaign and assures that it seeks to “overthrow” the Petro government.
In one of the chats, Zapata writes to Sarabia: “What injustice that at all times they want to put you in any mess knowing that you are an honorable woman, more than honorable, I would say.“.
