Latest Pertamina Fuel Price Update Today, Saturday 11 May 2024

JAKARTA – PT Pertamina (Persero) decided not to make changes selling price of fuel oil (BBM) non-subsidized, as of May 2024. This decision applies to Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Green 95, Dexlite and Pertamina Dex fuel.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting said the decision not to change fuel prices refers to several aspects, including Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree Number 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 concerning the formulation of prices for JBU or non-subsidized fuel. In this regulation, the fuel price formulation is influenced, among other things, by the US dollar and MOPS exchange rates.

“The adjustment of non-subsidized fuel prices does refer to regulations. However, in the current conditions we support the Government’s efforts to maintain economic stability,” explained Irto.

The price for Pertamax is IDR 12,950 per liter, Pertamax Green 95 is IDR 13,900 per liter, Pertamax Turbo is IDR 14,400 per liter, Dexlite is IDR 14,550 per liter, and Pertamina Dex is IDR 15,100 per liter. This price applies to Java and areas with a motor vehicle fuel tax (PBBKB) of 5%. Meanwhile, the prices of Pertalite and BioSolar fuel types have not changed or remain the same. In detail, Pertalite remains IDR 10,000 per liter and BioSolar IDR 6,800 per liter.

However, it is important to know that the price of Pertamina fuel in each province or region is different because it is influenced by various factors. One of them is distribution costs.
