Publika.az reports that the 40-year-old football player earned a total of 260 million dollars. Of this amount, 200 million dollars are related to his salary in the club, and the remaining 60 million dollars are from sponsorship contracts and income from off-field activities.
Boxer Saul Alvarez took the second place. He earned $125 million in the ring, and an additional $12 million from advertising contracts.
Lionel Messi took the third place. His total income is 130 million dollars. 60 million dollars of this amount came from his salary in the “Inter Miami” club, and 70 million dollars came from sponsorship contracts.
Also in the top ten are Juan Soto (Mets baseball player – $129.2 million), Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers basketball player – 128.7), Karim Benzema (Al-Ittihad football player – 115), Stephen Curry (Golden State basketball player – 105.4), Shohei Otani (Dodgers baseball player – 102.5), Kevin Durant (“Houston” basketball player – 100.8) and John Rahm (golfer – 100.7).
