La Tarumba celebrates 40 years with “Quereres”

The renowned Peruvian circus The Tarumba commemorates its 40 years of history with a new show titled “Wants” which seeks to pay tribute to all those years of love, community and circus art. The performances will take place until August 25 at the Plaza Lima Sur Shopping Center in the district of Chorrillos, tickets on sale at Ticketmaster.

This year, La Tarumba will not only stand out for national artists, but also for international talents, all of them under the artistic direction of Fernando Zevallos and with music by Amador ‘Chebo’ Ballumbrosio. This show promises to be a unique sensory experience that mixes visual and auditory elements that will surprise attendees.

In addition to its presentations in Lima, La Tarumba will extend to Trujillo and Arequipa as part of its anniversary tour. More than 100,000 people are expected to join this celebration and enjoy a show that fuses circus, theater and music, reflecting the dream of its founders, Estela Paredes and Fernando Zevallos.
