A dozen vegan activists burst in with flags and banners during an activity on the La Rural property in the “Our Horses” exhibition, but were thrown off the track by the riders.
The surprise entry onto the track took place in the middle of the exhibition and was not well received by the organizers and even less so by the riders who reacted by throwing their horses at them.
The protest message of the vegan activists was strong and direct with signs that said “It’s not culture, it’s violence”, “Veganism or animal abuse” and “Animal Liberation”, among other slogans.
As in similar protests, this Saturday afternoon there were moments of tension. Especially when several of the riders began to chase the protesters with their horses.
One of the videos that went viral even shows how one of the riders gets the animal to step on one of the ends of the cloth banner that one of the vegans was dragging while running, with the risk of making it fall.
In addition, several people from the organization entered to try to take away their flags and, in this way, get them to leave. Far from calming the waters; From the audience the actions of the riders were applauded and applause was given every time they managed to remove one of the protesters.

“Please relax, let’s all relax, don’t hit anyone, please don’t hurt anyone, please leave in peace,” could be heard over the loudspeakers, while the chase on the track was happening.
