Spain – The Spanish newspaper “Marca” revealed on Monday that French star Kylian Mbappe, the Paris Saint-Germain striker, has signed contracts to join the ranks of the Spanish “Real Madrid” until 2029.
The Spanish newspaper confirmed that Mbappe’s contract will require him to play with Real Madrid for 5 seasons starting next season, adding that the negotiations between the French star and the Royal Club this time were simple.
The newspaper added that Real Madrid officials contacted the player’s representatives in the first days of last January and asked whether things were still as planned, and the response was positive from them.
The newspaper indicated that there was a dispute between Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappé’s representatives over the issue of image rights, but the president of the Royal Club, Florentino Perez, immediately intervened in the negotiations and resolved the problem.
The newspaper added that Mbappe will receive a net salary per season ranging between 15 and 20 million euros with Real Madrid, in addition to goal bonuses during the five years that the contract will last.
The 24-year-old player informed the management of his club, Saint-Germain, that his contract, which expires at the end of the current season, would not be renewed, and that he would leave the club at the end of this season.
Mbappe scored 32 goals during his participation in 31 matches in all tournaments with the French capital club this season, and he also made 7 other goals in a total of 2,619 minutes of participation.
