Kristýna Leichtová: The traumatic experience of her daughter’s vaccination

Kristýna Leichtová actively participates in a fundraiser supporting the presence of parents with their children in hospitals, to which they have the right: to be together during examination, treatment, hospitalization, preparation for surgery and waking up after it. She herself knows very well what it’s like when a child is suffering – and his mother can’t help him in any way… At most by being close to her in difficult moments. She saw this for herself when she went for vaccination with one of her daughters, little Dorotka, who will celebrate her sixth birthday in August.

The girl, quite logically, was very afraid at the doctor. “Because she was with her mom, she let her emotions of fear and pain flow,” described Leichtová, who was made famous by the rookie sitcom Comeback or comedy Participants tourmoved. “So I left her, hugged and kissed her and calmed my breath. But the nurse kept repeating that it was nothing, that she didn’t have to shout so much. And as a full stop, she added: ‘So mom, we’ll have to somehow pacify her together.'”

In the final result, both the mother and the daughter that Leichtová has with her partner, actor Vojtěch Štěpánek, suffered (40). “I just can’t handle these learned phrases.
