Shouldn’t it be all good on the third day? Let’s hope so. Czech judoka Lukáš Krpálek (33) traveled to Paris for the Olympic Games, where he will try to win the gold medal for the third time in a row. On this occasion, his beloved wife Eva posted a video before the flight, to which she added a touching message. What exactly was on her mind?
Krpálek is currently one of the most successful Czech Olympians. His gold medals from the previous two Olympics are proof of that, after all. In the capital of France, the Czech flag bearer will try to complete a »golden hat trick« and confirm the reputation of one of the best judokas in the world.
He was accompanied by his wife Eva and children to Václav Havel Airport, from where Krpálek flew to the venue of the Olympics. And it must be said that it was a really emotional farewell, as shown in the video that his love posted on Instagram. On it, the top athlete hugs the aforementioned Eva, son Antonín and daughter Mariana very emotionally.

“I am proud to be your wife and grateful to have by my side not only an exceptional athlete, but above all a man with an exceptional heart and a wonderful, loving father of our children. No matter what happens next week, we will always be extremely proud of you.” she added in conclusion. Now all that remains is for Krpálk to keep his fingers crossed for it to ring again.
