After this victory, Hardik said, ‘We had faith. I planned I tried to use it. Kudos to Bumrah and the rest of the bowlers for the last five overs. I tried to keep myself calm. I gave 100 percent to every ball. Always like to handle pressure. I won this match under pressure too.’
He said about World Cup winning coach Rahul Dravid, ‘Dravid is a very good person. Very happy for him. Had a great time under him. We are very happy to be able to give him such a farewell. Our relationship became like friends.’
