Kid MC puts an end to his music career

Angolan rapper Kid MC, one of the most renowned and respected hip-hop artists in the country, ended his musical career this Sunday (23), after making his last appearance as a singer, on the Fly Podcast.

Kid MC also gave an interview to the program directed by fellow rapper Fly Skuad, broadcast live via social media, where he recalled important stories from his career, spoke about the movement and hip-hop and gave several other testimonials.

On the program, Kid MC told how he arrived at Mad Tapes, a production company that served as a launching pad for his career, where he recorded his albums.

“They wanted to continue with the project and needed an MC with enough quality to raise Mad Tapes and manage his career in the best way… Kool Klever held meetings on Fridays, Samurai went there, he watched, filmed, published it on his blog and was interested in recording my stuff”, revealed the artist.

Modest during the Kid MC interview, he received several messages from fans, in one of which he was classified as the best rapper in Angola, the singer said he had never placed himself as the number one style in the country, considering that he would be being disrespectful to those who learned how to do it RAP MUSIC.

The artist who will dedicate himself to business, made his presentation and was honored at his farewell with various gifts, such as sums of money, in different currencies and other items.

During his career of more than 10 years, Kid MC has released several successful songs and eight records, including CDs, Mixtapes and EPs, with emphasis on the albums “Incorrigível” and “Sombra”.
