Khofifah and Emil Dardak Visit Kertanegara to Meet Prabowo

JAKARTA – Prospective Candidate for Governor and Deputy Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa – Emil Dardak met with the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto. One of those who will accompany Prabowo is the Secretary General of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani.

Muzani admitted that he did not know what would be discussed at the meeting later. He was only asked to accompany the 2024 President-Elect at the meeting.

“Today I was asked to accompany Pak Prabowo to meet Mrs. Khofifah and Mas Emil,” said Muzani at Prabowo’s residence, Jalan Kertanegara IV, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Friday (7/6/2024).

Muzani emphasized that Prabowo planned to immediately give a statement after the meeting was completed. “But what will happen in the meeting, we’ll just have to wait and we will tell our friends after this meeting is over,” he said.

“Later Mr. Prabowo will probably explain directly the results of the meeting with Mrs. Khofifah this afternoon. Wait a moment,” he continued.

Based on monitoring at the location, the car carrying Khofifah and Emil arrived at Prabowo’s residence at around 16.28 WIB. Upon arrival, they were immediately greeted by the Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party DPP Sufmi Dasco Ahmad on the terrace of Prabowo’s house.

After that, Prabowo was seen coming out of his house which was painted white. Wearing his trademark white shirt, Prabowo shook hands with Khofifah and Emil.

After that, Prabowo and Khofifah were seen waving to the media crew who were outside Prabowo’s house. When asked that Prabowo would provide recommendations in the East Java (Jatim) Governor Election (Pilgub), Khofifah did not answer directly. “(Get a recommendation) God willing, God willing,” he said.

For your information, Khofifah and Emil have received support to run for the 2024 East Java gubernatorial election from Golkar, PAN, Democrat, PSI and the Perindo Party.
