Confident that he will become prime minister in the next national elections, the president of SYRIZA, Stefanos Kasselakis, appeared, even adding that he will achieve self-reliance.
Mr. Kasselakis spoke about the prices of feta, about his origins and his personal life, in the new interview given to ANT1 against the backdrop of an idyllic landscape in Spetses, where he and the journalist went on an inflatable boat.
There were elections somewhere
Answering a related question, Mr. Kasselakis said that in the next elections he will win and he even believes that he will have self-reliance.
“Mark my words, I am the biggest outsider that has ever passed through the country’s political scene and I am not going to lose that,” he said, while when asked what the first thing he will do if he becomes prime minister, he replied that he will proceed to abolition of parliamentary immunity and parliamentary privileges, calling them ridiculous. The second thing he will do is focus on the national health system.
Mr. Kasselakis said that he would not be able to co-govern with another political leader who may have personal agendas, while he once again fired his personal arrows against Kyriakos Mitsotakis saying that “he lacks empathy and arrogance, you can see it from way he mocks the people in Tempe he couldn’t apologize.”
He then revealed that he will finally file his petition before the European elections, after the conflicting statements about the date of his filing.
“Mr. Mitsotakis should tell us where he buys feta”
He also mentioned the prices of feta and bread, he noted that he goes to the supermarket with Tyler Macbeth because for them “it’s a break from everyday life”.
He declared that he knows how much the bread is “Hey! How much to have? One euro;” and asked “that the philistine prime minister who buys the feta should tell us, so I can go too”.
He said that it is sad that his wedding invitation was leaked and revealed that around 150 people will be invited, most of Stefanos Kasselakis and Tyler Macbeth’s friends from abroad. “I never thought of hiding Tyler” he said of his husband, while when asked about his financial situation he said that “I’m well off that he wants to contribute to his country and he doesn’t like a meaningless conversation.”
He also said that “I don’t intend to return to America” while he stated that he does not regret his appearance in a nightclub saying: “Other politicians go to the bouzouki, it was funny that they threw flowers at me”.
